Error codeH20
ApplianceDishwasher
The dishwasher is telling you it cannot sense any water. With H20 (a zero, not the letter O) Maytag points at the supply side, and there are two things to look at.
Supply checks
The water supply to the dishwasher must be turned on.
The supply hose must have no kinks.
Restarting
When the supply is fixed, press Start. The dishwasher tries to fill and resume the cycle.

H2O carries the same not-detecting-water meaning, spelled with the letter.
F8E1 is the inlet water listing for the same fault.
If H20 remains even though water is reaching the machine, ring (415) 649-2156 for a technician visit. See Maytag dishwasher repair for the San Francisco and Bay Area service. Give the model number and the supply checks already done.
Model compatibility: Maytag reuses codes across series and model years, so H20 may mean something different on another appliance or generation. Confirm this against your model’s documentation and record your full model number before acting.
Plain language
What this code means
H20 means the dishwasher is not detecting water.
Important safety warning. Do not attempt repairs involving electrical components, gas, water lines, refrigerant or sealed systems. Unplug the appliance if it is safe to reach the outlet, and leave internal diagnostics to a qualified technician.
